Restaurant referrals in Lakewood, CA from Jan 16, 2014
Jennifer S. asked:
I need recommendations for a good, inexpensive and quite location for my Damsel team meetings. They are going to be on a Monday night. I'm thinking a restaurant with a separate banquet room or something like that. (I don't want to scare people while they are eating and we are demoing stun guns LOL!)
Yvette B. answered:
How many people? And how late?
Deborah F. answered:
Check out Denny's.
Cindy Y. answered:
Ana Hernandez or Carina J Garcia do either of you have a suggestion? She lives in Lakewood and would love to include you in her team meetings!
Tonia M. answered:
Try a hotel meeting room. If you do it for so many weeks you usually can get good rates. Ask for sales manager or director of sales. Just a thought from 3000 miles away. Good luck.
Erin G. answered:
What about the community rooms at one of the local parks?
Karla B. answered:
If you use a Marriott, you get points.
Erica T. answered:
Churches usually rent out rooms in exchange for a donation.
Susan M. answered:
If there is a Coco's near you, check out if they have a back room. I hold my Heartlink fullerton meetings at a Coco's. They don't charge for the room as long as everyone buys food. Mimi's also if there is one in your area.
So G. answered:
Dennys on South and Bellflower has a separate room that I know they let you use for free if you are ordering. Just call and arrange it with the manager.
Carina G. answered:
I wish I knew..Ana Hernandez may know more she's closer to that area.
Grace C. answered:
Jennifer, the laQuinta in town has a smaller room they rent fairly reasonable....we use Perkins, they have two rooms that close off and there is no charge. My girls usually order food and we tip well.
