Just got letter in mail letting us know our primary care physician's office is closing here in St Joseph. According to Presence Medical Group, due to "health care landscape shifts" and "to align their resources where they can make the most impact on our communities" our local physician's office is closing. According to our letter "nearby options are 20 minutes away or under a thirty minute drive". Good to know that the primary choice of my physician should be based on travel distance time and that quality medical care in the small town is no longer important in "the health care landscape".

Nope just no patient to doctor care got to give the middle man -big corp who hires doc- his cut and the ins companies who make out like bandits and lawyers who get their cut of law suits.
