so our pediatrician isn't taking United Healthcare anymore. Anyone have a pediatrician in the Bethesda/Rockville area that takes United that you recommend? if possible, I like the type of practice where you can see the same doctor each time.

My sister used to go to Kenwood pediatrics at westbard when she used to live in maryland. She LOVED them.

Update: Dr. Peebles doesn't take my insurance. Pediatric care of rockville kept me on hold forever, so I eventually hung up LOL. Andrea, same with Dr. Desouza. I guess I am spoiled b/c my current Dr they always pick up on the first ring ha

I don't know if he takes United Healthcare, but Dr. Peebles in Bethesda is awesome! We've seen him several times when we've had sick kids and we're back in the area. 301-564-5880. He has a practice near NIH, but I can't remember the name of it.

We love love LOVE Shady Grove Pediatrics on Shady Grove Road (Rockville/G'burg line). Three female pediatricians, all phenomenal. You see the same one for your regular appointments and sick visits you may see any of the three. No idea if they take United insurance though.

Coleman pediatrics on Rockville pike! Love them! For sick visits it's difficult to see the same person but there are only three doctors and you certainly can for well visits.
