Simon B. asked:
Good morning folks. I am a local tree surgeon ( www.bassonsarboriculture.co.uk )
I am looking for someone who would like some wood chips, any ideas? Anyone that owns a fishing lake that would like them for paths, or allotments that would like them for soil conditioning, horse riders that would like them for their paddocks, or indeed someone with some land that would like to stockpile it and then sell on as topsoil? Many thanks, Simon Basson
Helene K. answered:
Joanne Coleman for your menage?
Simon B. answered:
grrr, I hate pressing return! If you would like to 'take a chance' then you are welcome to have some, but I don't think it would be a good idea. As for your idea Ian, good idea, I might give them a call.

Can I just add, this isn't bark chips, it's branches and leaves that have passed through my wood chipper
David S. answered:
The problem with making mulch is that you need a plug or a 10 mile extension cable. Does your machine work with a car battery by any chance?
Simon B. answered:
No David, it's a desiel engine
