Karen F. answered:
Exactly Janice, well put. And vets aren't actually that well paid and certainly not enough for the time and effort they put in.
Janice T. answered:
I'm in the middle of a run of vet appointment just now, it's just something you have to allow for when you have pets, £100 on tests for the cat that thankfully showed nothing wrong (expensive bit of piece of mind eh) and I dread to imagine how much on the gecko but hey ho, we take them on and we have to look after them and that includes when they get ill or injured.
Becky C. answered:
Thanks all for ya help . Hes been operated on .and jus need to wait now for 7 t 10 days n see if the trauma to his head goes down .
Janice T. answered:
Fingers crossed Becky x

Karen F. answered:
If you show proof of benefits they should be able to cover most if not all of the bill. Good luck.

Aww poor wee soul. PDSA will pay roughly 50% of final vet bill, as Dunbar not in catchment area to use their clinic. Not sure if any other help available Becky. O:)
Janice T. answered:
Hope the PDSA can help you out, if not surely the vet will allow you to pay in installments. Hope the mog is ok x
Lauren O. answered:
Awww poor little cat! Hope you find help soon xx
Michelle B. answered:
Awww poor wee soul hope you sort something out x
Andrew K. answered:
Wouldn't it be nice if vets treated him for free, or at least at a much reduced price.
Janice T. answered:
Would be Andrew but at the end of the day 6 plus years training doesn't come cheap and regardless of our feeling towards our animals they are running a business and have overheads
