Yasmin G. asked:
I used to have access to a gym with crech fascilities! It cost £6.50 per session non member + £3.50 per child in creche. These were morning ladies classes and it would be about 2hourly sessions! As a member ot was £30 a month with child costing £1.50! Now is there anywhere anyway i can get that sort of rate here! I got 2 kids and its ridiculous why i need to pay £5 per child per hour on top of crazy membership fees lin somewhere like Virgin active! I would love to be able to go somewhere for at least 2 hours to get a workout without gping out of pocket! Do gyms not rewalize that so many more mums/families would fill their facilities if such a service were to be offered??? Its frustrating i tell you!
Laura M. answered:
I don't know the answer but I'm going to follow and see if anyone else does!!
Sam P. answered:
Tandridge leisure centre in Oxted offer a crèche but it's been a couple of years since I used it and I can't remember the price. I do know members get discounts and priority over a place. x
Mark S. answered:
Everything in Wales is cheaper! We get ripped off royally in or near London, they assume we are loaded, but forget our mortgages and rent are ridiculous! I used to go to the gym in warlingham which is quite good, but I just couldn't justify £40 a month. I don't think tandridge is much cheaper, best you will get is around £30 a month unless you travel quite a way.
Kerry P. answered:
YMCA in redhill do morning crèche 9.30 - 11.30 but bit of a trek. Good rates too though

Yasmin G. answered:
Yes Mark i do think here in and outer london is ridiculous. I mean being the capital with most money coming in you would think it really should be cheaper and financially more accessible, right? But instead its the opposite! I know that lease and morgage rates as well as any other fees that gym companies have to pay is just as high so hence prices! But i often wonder that if you have more customers coming in it would bridge the gap of these costs! An example of how capitalism can work very unfairly at times!!!
Yasmin G. answered:
I will def check out waddon and tandridge! Anyone know which classes with creche fasiloties are popular and good? Love some kind of aerobics and dance excercise thing for now!
Debbie W. answered:
We have a great gym at the White House in Warlingham and the pool is gorgeous and warm and you're not restricted by the one adult one child local pool ratio. Membership is £25 PCM (half that if you're under 35) and kids are free. You get your own keys and can come and go as you please 24/7/365:-) Www.whitehouseclub.org.uk
Louise G. answered:
The most affordable one I found was westcroft but that's in carshalton.
Debbie W. answered:
There's also a great outside children's play area and indoor playroom
Yasmin G. answered:
Ohh where is this?
Laura M. answered:
Except you have to be naked? Sounded great until that bit!
Danielle W. answered:
I know it's not local but is only 20 mins away. beckenham spa is around those prices and runs a crèche every day, also has a great soft play area for the kids to.
Debbie W. answered:
Lol. It's behind the Travelodge off the A22. Nudity is only compulsory in the pool and sauna. If you're even just a little bit interested it's worth a visit (with your clothes on!) - you never know.:-)
Mary D. answered:
I thought tandridge offer a creche at their pool/gym in Oxted near morrisons car park?
Becky G. answered:
There's a crèche at the new one in Waddon but not sure how much
Yasmin G. answered:
I did 2 houly sessions twice per week initially paying the non member fees but realized i liked my classes so much i became a member! I then had access to all leisure centres run by council and access 5 days a week paying creche each time which was amazing. The creche fascilities only were for 2 hours each morning which is enough then i could take my baby swimming with me to finish off!!!! Yes yes i failed to mention this was in wales and these were local leisure centres BUT i mean it baffles me why there is such a jump in price and fascilities access only cause i live in england! We should protest it!!! Lol
Jules S. answered:
Hi Yasmin - have a look at Tandridge Trust which is two centres - De Stafford sport centre and Tandridge Leisure in Oxted. I think you can pay an annual fee of £27 individual or £69 family to get membership rates which get you money off each session for classes and creche and it isn't that bad. http://www.tandridgetrust.co.uk/index.php/memberships.html Not sure it is as good as you had before but check it out...xxx
Yasmin G. answered:
I will!!!! Thank you julie!!
Rachael W. answered:
Have you looked at chick fit or buggy fit. You can take the baby with you!
Stacey C. answered:
