Can anyone remember the restaurant on the Atlanta Hwy that had great fried chicken 1961-62?

My grandparents took mr to a place in Montgomery called Pinsons they had the best chicken

The Kottage chicken recipe was moved to Pinson's on Coliseum Blvd. It is now the Eastbrook Café but they still have the same recipe for their chicken as Pinson's and The Kottage. They have pulley bones on the menu.

I was at Red Bird Inn in 1956 and the Law had it being watched for minors. Some of us were 18 and got our parents called. Can you even believe how scared we were!!!!! What a memory!!'

Me, too. I only lived in that part of MGM for one year, my senior year at Lee. My Jr. year was at Lanier and before that Chilton County High School.

Maryland's Fried chichen was on Atlanta Hwy and was great.

It was at the northwest corner of Atlanta Highway and Coliseum Blvd. There is Shell station on that lot now.
