Jessica D. asked: Delete if not okay! Someone contacted me about the little guy. He was headed to he pound and she saved him until she could find him help or a home. Well sad to say no rescue has helped. Now we need to find him a home. He's a 1.5 year old male out not fixed. He's good with other dogs and kids. Loves to play. There will be lots of questions asked and we need a vet reference. There is a small rejoining fee and all of this is to ensure a good home. Or if any of you know a legit rescue to take him please message me so we can get that set up. Please help! I've contacted as many people that I know in rescues and now I don't want to not help the lady with him because she can't keep him. Thanks.

Jessica J. answered: For some- animals are kids

Austin P. answered: Greg Roten probably shouldnt own any animal if he cant pay a small rehoming fee or answer questions... that just makes it very suspicious... and yes some people think of there dogs as children because MANY people cant have children or dont want any. So therefor your entire comment is absurd.

Jessica D. answered: If your not interested in helping the dog keep your comments to yourself.

Greg R. answered: And I'll comment all I want. I don't EVER remember you paying any of my bills

Jessica D. answered: Please go be rude on another post and not this one. We are trying to find help for the dog. Your comments are rude and uncalled for.

Greg R. answered: As are yours. All I did was make a comment. And then you made it personal you could have just read and kept going with your life and didn't have to take the detour you keep taking. Have a BLESSED DAY

Lisa D. answered: Why are you such a jerk? Don't you have any better way to use your time? On another topic, when rescues don't help it is often because they don't have free fosters. Fosters must be approved so it is not instant. If someone who wants to foster this dog until adoption can contact a local rescue, and get approved to foster, you might get some help. Whoever owns the dog must be prepared to sign him over (owner surrender form). Thanks for trying to help this guy!

Joyce R. answered: This dog should be fixed before he is rehomed to ensure he isn't used as a stud for dog fighting If you contact the Humane Society of Alamance County, they may be able to help with a low cost spay/neuter voucher. If you haven't contacted Merit Pit Bull Foundation, they may be able to help as well. https://www.facebook.com/TheMeritPitBullFoundation

Jessica D. answered: The dog is not mine or the persons who has it. Even where he is right now she will only let him be there until Monday or he goes to the pound which is why I was trying to help. Thanks.

Joyce R. answered: Merit Pit Bull Foundation is a rescue, they may be able to help or even take the dog into their program which is why I mentioned them. I hate hearing about someone rescuing a dog and then pulling the emotional blackmail that the "dog can only stay until monday" nonsense. I realize you are trying to help and I applaud you for that Jessica:)

Greg R. answered: I wouldn't want it either if I was going to be questioned like I was on trial or something. The dog was free to you why do you need a 1000 question survey and money for someone else to take your problem. And if he's not a problem then why are you trying to get rid of it? Give it a home or send it where he was going to begin with. It's sad people wanna care more for an animal more then a child.
