Valerie V. answered:
Maybe you should talk to a dog trainer. There is something that has her doing this behavior and like Michelle Vanecek just suggested cass is an amazing trainer! Getting an outsiders view helps a lot
Stacy V. answered:
I've had a hard time finding someone to repair my leather couch just normal wear and tears! I would be glad to know if anyone has any suggestions as well for repairs...
Brenda K. answered:
Use the spray in conjunction with training. It seems she's still young and has to learn the rules of the house, so you could spray some things but taking the time to train using a good reward system will make her a calmer, more secure pet.
Stephanie F. answered:
Are you crating her while you are gone? If these incidents are happening while you are gone, it could be stress related or separation anxiety.
Elaine H. answered:
Ohhhhhhh! She looks so guilty!!
Elaine H. answered:
Oh.. Also, try the bitter apple spray! It's so incredibly nasty, your dog will not go near anything with it! I know this because, if you spray your shoes, (or anything) and touch them, and then touch your mouth, it becomes abundantly clear why it works so well!
Jbird J. answered:
Maybe you should buy a couch that dosent taste so good
Nancy M. answered:
Pls get with cass and tell her u got her from the shelter or call and ask rhonda- the director. So sorry. She is such a sweetie
Brenda K. answered:
Take her to obedience classes, teach her tricks, get her doggie puzzles--lots of things to stimulate her mind, not just her body. Giver her positive reinforcement (praise, treats, play with her) for chewing on the correct things, too. By the way, if she is never alone, how is she able to chew these things?
Melissa R. answered:
Don't repair couch until dog stops chewing!! Lol
Leann H. answered:
Howdy! I'm also a trainer. PM if you'd like to follow up.
Mary M. answered:
Bad girl. I would check with upullestry(sp?)repair..or Cobbler
Chrystal C. answered:
They have this spray you could use called bitter apple. Dogs hate that taste. Spray it on anything she will chew on. It worked for my baby
