Ruby-Yasmin G. answered: I'm a body piercer in pierced up. Just past the bri hospital. Read my reviews on our fb page. I recommend reading reviews for the above recommended shops. I've had to sort out a lot of botched piercings. As a piercer I'd NEVER use a gun. Disgusting things that can't be sterilised, smashes cartilage and shoots a blunt stud into the nose.. often not penetrating all the way through the nose. Horrific things. Do your research. There's a reason you've had to post to find a 'piercer' that uses a gun....

Lauren H. answered: DONT GO TO BLUE BANANA THERE BOLLOX! Your nose is cartilage if im right so a gun could shatter it. Ive had my nose pierced by Soniya Zellinger Mundy with a needle and it was harmless, didnt hurt whatsoever!

Roxie C. answered: No piercer in their right minds would use a gun to pierce their clients. Guns are very unhygienic and inaccurate.

Lauren F. answered: Blue banana, used to work there. I'd recommend them any day:) using a gun is fine as where you get your nostril pierced there isn't actually cartilage. So it's whichever you prefer. Personally I got mine done with a gun when I was at work one day. Healed really well and I love it.

Jen S. answered: I had my nose pierced with a gun at tat2 u in Chipping Sodbury but that was 15 years ago so may have changed! Got infected badly and had to take it out, repierced and infected again so rode it out and still pierced now. A needle probably would have been better option though as my skin doesn't like guns. Did the same with ears!

Charmaine J. answered: I had my nose done in Claire's accessories with a gun 1 year ago. I know it's not the best way to pierce but illegal?
Facebook reviewer avatar
Charly W. answered: Adonis in Broadmead don't use a gun, but almost like a clamp type thing... less invasive and as close to a gun as u will probably get in today's day and age! Xx

Amy P. answered: For those needing an anatomy lesson, if you're piercing correctly, the you wouldn't be piercing cartilage in the nostril. Just saying!

Samantha T. answered: Blue banana use a gun I had mine with a gun took ages go heal as it was on a funny angle. They will also do needle you can choose. X

Jodie L. answered: I don't recommend any piercing done with a gun. Many things can go wrong. Needle is cleaner quicker and more professional. And I recommend blue banana, but they will only use a needle X
