Amy B. answered: Dr. Zweig. I gave birth at Southwestern. I like it because it's a smaller facility. They also do skin to skin right after and you can choose to keep your baby in the room with you or the nursery depending on your preference. Post partum rooms are private and have an extra bed for you spouse or support person. The staff there was excellent.

Hilary S. answered: Dr. KERN he is the BEST! I drove from Comanche to Lawton to see him he is a great Dr and has a wonderful bedside manner. He delivered my 3 healthy boys.

And I believe Joslin was my ob but was out of town when I went in labor so weeden. Delivered and couldn't have asked for a better out come, she was breech and we didn't know until I started pushing and he delivered her feet first!

Ana H. answered: Both hospitals are good but just like any place there are ups and downs. I have done numerous transfers over the years from both places. Personally I prefer CCMH better for several reasons. What I like best is they do skin to skin after delivery and the baby stays with you the whole time you are in the rm. Any of the Dr's at MMG OB GYN Clinic are great and this is where you will find your high risk Dr's as well. CCMH does offer L&D tours that are free every Thursday at 11am and meet in the lobby. If I were you I'd probably do the tour and contact SWMC to see about touring their L&D than decide from there which hospital you would prefer to deliver at. The staff at both hospitals are great and will be more than happy to show you around as well as answer any questions you have.
