Definitely shop around. We moved from California to Oklahoma and only paid about $3,600 split between a few of us. Many companies will have fine print to screw you over in the end too, so read everything carefully
Kathi H. answered:
When we moved we were quoted 150 per hour by 3 moving companies. We ended up using Larry Elliot from Comanche. He did a fantastic job. Not one scratch and nothing lost or broken. He charged us 650 for the entire move. He packed and moved everything but my china. Crystal and clothing. He unpacked and put ever price of furniture exactly where I wanted it.
Cindy M. answered:
Where are y'all going???no!!!
Susie S. answered:
$5000 from Houston.....
Tanner K. answered:
Usually $1 a pound after a certain weight. I'm not by my dad or be able to tell you specifically. If you have less they make it a minimum weight, were they can afford to do it with a little weight.
Jennie H. answered:
Have heard wonderful things about Larry Elliott in Comanche.
Jennifer O. answered:
Yeah we can't afford to keep it.
Verna W. answered:
Two Men and a Truck go everywhere and are very reasonable.

I use Larry Elliot, he is $75 an hour, but I don't know if he does long hauls
Heather B. answered:
My nephew owns a moving company out of Norman but just moved a friend from Lawton to Elgin and she said they were extremely reasonable and much cheaper than all other movers she checked on for estimates. It's Cavalry Movers on Facebook. Call and ask for Parker for your free estimate!
Jennifer O. answered:
Thank u all, I have a estimate but I wanna know what others had paid.
Kellie H. answered:
We moved from Pennsylvania to Oklahoma, they packed everything and unpacked everything. The cost was just under $5,000. I know it can be cheaper if you pack your own and loaf your own and then they just move it to your new home.
Monica H. answered:
Larry Elliot moves locally and cross country. We have his cars at Eclectic Echo and we use him alot.
