I can recommend one in Gun Barrel. His name is Jon Rich. He is compassionate and thorough. He is a family doctor -- translation you don't have to go to a specialist for every little thing. He is young, under 35, but we trust him with our lives literally.

I second Barbara's recommendation. We loved Dr. Walleed Mahmoud in GBC. I believe he saved my life when he diagnosed my high blood pressure. I was there to check out a hearing problem and he caught the more ominous underlying cause.

I use Dr Johnson and love him. He is Peds and IM, but probably cannot take a lot of new patients. I've heard great things about Turtle Creek Dr. Calvert. No waiting (hello wait time for Dr Shaw)....for 4 hours exactly the last time I saw Dr.Shaw....I can wait for a good thing but not that long.
Barbara T. replied:

Don't be afraid!! IVIG WILL make your life better....you just gotta give it a bit to "kick in"... Drink PLENTY of fluids, take your pre-meds and don't hesitate to let your doctors and nurses know if you're experiencing any issues! Ask for Ativan to ease your stress. It gets better, I promise!!
