John Gallagher Bottom line is everyone will have their personal "this is the best gym ever" opinion. Most offer guest passes and/or introductory tours and visits for prospective members. Best suggestion is to go to a few, check them out, and see which offers the atmosphere you like best.

Work out World in Tinton Falls/Ocean, Retro Fitness in Monmouth Corporate Center in WLB are both decent size gyms with nearly all the equipment you could need. Golds Gym and Pearl Street Gym in Long Branch are more strength based gyms, while Planet Fitness in Eatontown is more casual based. The Atlantic Club also has a pool, not as big of a strength section though
