Michael and Sons is exactly the opposite of what you're looking for. Just wanted to throw that out there.

Mountain Springs Plumbing: (804) 212-7072mountainspringsplumbing@gmail.com They’ve done a lot of work for us over the past five years or so. Great folks, won’t break the bank.

Carrol plumbing is my go to

Can’t speak to what they’d charge for a service line issue but I used Stamie Lyttle to replace the distribution box on the septic system at my old house five years ago (which also involved digging up the yard) and they were reasonable. (As much as that type of thing can be at least.)

I used 360 plumbing and loved working with them. We have used them for little things to a huge project. Would highly recommend them for any project!

Serenity Plumbing is my go to. Pretty good prices. Only con is they're a small shop so they're availability is a little rough and they book up for the week fast.

I had to have my service line replaced between the meter and my house two years back. Joe Hobgood 804-641-3983 diagnosed the issue but recommended USA Pipe Repair come out and route the new line. Our property is a crazy mf and we needed our line snaked through underground rather than trenched. But these guys got it done the day I called and for a totally fair price! https://www.usapiperepair.com
Plumber recommendations? Anyone have a go to guy for small plumbing issues? I had a pipe burst a few months ago going to an external faucet that I want to get fixed...

Danny's Plumbing Service 640-0149 My grandfather use to call Danny 30+ years ago for all his rental properties. My father now calls him weekly. And now I call him about once a month or so for any problem I have on my stuff. To add to that my younger cousin also calls him as well for any problems on his properties. We will never go anywhere else and I can't recommend him enough, great personality and reasonable prices. He will also do the job right the first time so it won't have to be done again which is hard to say for most people these days. Give him a call

Joe Hobgood804-641-3983 He's an honest independent guy, always super busy whenever I call him but he cares and will fit you in!
Anyone have any recommendations on trustworthy plumbers in the RVA? We have quite a huge issue with our water main under the house and it's a very costly expense. Sigh....

Alma, This just sent in by a friend of mine: When I have a serious problem I use Kelleher but they are pricey. An independent guy was just recommended to me who is suppose to be good and cheap-Joe Gilbert 804-539-5557.
