I thought all pediatricians required referrals? We see Dr. David Roseman. He is AMAZING. Very much a straight shooter and kind of blunt. Doesn't believe antibiotics solve everything and is very open to alternative medicine and treatments. All 3 of my kids have seen him. He is worth the drive!

This where we go and I know they have pediatricians. 127 St. and 132 Ave. They do have a sign up saying they're accepting new patients. I don't know about the pediatricians specifically but might be worth a try. http://medigroup.ca/our-doctors/kensington-medical-clinic/
Anyone have a good pediatrician they can recommend? Someone you feel listens to you and doesn't have a language barrier? Tia
Leanne M. replied:
Dr Sharon in meadowlark. He isn't one to prescribe antibiotics for everything and requires his patients to be immunized. This is his blog. (You will need a referral to get in with him) http://raphaelsharon.com/blog/author/dr-raffi-sharon/

Dr. Mohamed Ansarian at the Misercordia. LOvE him! Always takes the time to answer questions PLus 95% of the time there is a resident that goes in before him... Meaning all questions welcome. On 2 different occasions when I had questions he went out of the patient room and then went and got diagrams so I could better understand

We have gone though this with our son when he was 3 - let us know if we can do anything to help. Who is your pediatrician?
Maddi's E. replied:
Dr Dhunnoo and our neurologist is dr Sinclair. I am just getting tired of her seizures being uncontrolled
Barbara E. replied:
We know Barry quite well - he knows his stuff. Be warned though - sometimes neurologists and pediatricians don't see eye to eye. We did a lot of our own research. Also, look into John Hopkins - they were actually very positive.
Barbara E. replied:
We liked the valporic acid - didn't make him tired. And, it did take a few months to build up in the system so that the seizures totally stopped. John Hopkins is in Baltimore - they have a great book that was a bible to us. http://www.amazon.com/Seizures-Epilepsy-Childhood-Hopkins-Health/dp/0801870518
