  Most vets will open at around 3 pm, so if the above are not then Parktown North (Jan Smuts Ave - 011 447 2517) and Bryanston Vet (Ballyclare / William Nicol 011 706 6023) are both 24 hour vets in the vicinity. Far as I'm aware those are the two closest 24 hour practices.

  Does anyone perhaps know where the closest emergency vet is? Melville Vet is closed between 12h00 and 15h00 every day so I'm desperate to know where an emergency vet is in close proximity for the next time I need emergency care for one of my pets.
