He offered me two different price points....one for a lower cost touch-up and one that would make it look brand new.   Florida legal question!!!! (that no one when calling the non-emergency number can answer): Does anyone know what I can do about someone refusing to give car insurance information? I had my car parked in the street and the neighbor's father in law backed up into me. It was a few days before Christmas and I decided to be dumb/nice and not go through insurance. Now that things don'tnt seem right and they want their brother from out of state to do the work (don't know how that's going to work). I want insurance info incase this doesn't go right or they bail. The woman got very rude, defensive, and started yelling on the phone when I asked for it and refuses to give it. The insurance company says they can "try" and get it. Is there anything else I can do or anything binding them to give it to me!???
