  Hi Helen, if you give my office a call on 01943884482, they will be happy to book you in ( tell them I said I would do it as an extra job on the way home). It sounds like you have something that is too big to fit into the filter fully, that's what is stopping you from in-screwing it. It will need removing the same way it went it otherwise you will break the filter or damage the pump. Thanks Ian
