  All this talk about BBQ makes me hungry!😂 I like to hear that the smoke pit is good, been curious about that place. R&R is good, but I really can’t wait for Smithfield’s chicken and Barbeque to open in Concord. I think it’s one of the best. They have a closer location down by the outlets near Charlotte Douglas airport. Better than driving to Greensboro or Rockingham

  There's a 5-star atmosphere BBQ place around here? I like The Smoke Pit, Shane's@Afton Ridge, Jim & Nick's... haven't been to Queen City Q...

  The improper pig at Cotswold is great. They have been on dives, diners and drive-ins and are very reasonable on prices. Mac’s speed shop on South Blvd is great as well. And the smoke pit is the best but you gotta get there early.

  Looking for casual "non-chain" restaurant in Charlotte/North Charlotte area to take some visiting friends to this evening. Nothing Sushi please...it isn't their preference. We don't venture out of Harrisburg much for dining and don't want to go someplace that isn't recommended if I haven't been there before. We just don't eat out in Charlotte much.
