  I know this is probably going to sound crazy but we found some newborn baby mice and their dead mother. We can not bring ourselves to kill them but have no idea how to take care of them and are leaving for vacation. We tried calling Waldens Puddle, Petco, Petsmart, Acoqutic Life, our vet and Blue Pearl for suggestions. Is there anyone out there that would like to raise some baby mice or have an suggestions as where we could take them?

  Angela, Bats are protected by the gov't and are a threatened species. Please call a professional trapper to help you with your problem or Walden's Puddle Wildlife Rehab can refer a humane trapper to you if you leave a message at 615-299-9938. They do not take in bats but can help you with tips.

  Help!!!!! Baby birds fell in the ashes of my fireplace during the storm yesterday. The nest was in the chimney somewhere I suppose. We tried to leave them out but cats are coming to get them. They haven't eaten and the mama bird hasn't come back. Please someone tell me where to take them. Same thing happened last month. I found the birds in the ashes at night and I was told to leave them outside in a tree but in the morning i went to check on them and they were dead. I felt awful for weeks!! I don't want them to die. I'm sure someone here knows what to do with them.
