  When we go to Kauffman Center we usually eat dinner at the Bristol in P&L and then walk the 4 block walk to Kauffman. Also, the Webster House is very close by but they are not open all nights so it depends on what night you go. Tannin Wine bar is also very close by and has great food.

  Taking an adult only KC epicurian staycation for two soon. If you were to plan one starting with lunch on Friday through Breakfast on Sunday, what would YOUR itinerary be? Staying at Hotel Phillips...will rely on walking, streetcar, uber, etc. Anywhere in KC!!! I'm not so much just interested in restaurants...I know the good recommendations.   Extra Virgin happy hour (or patio if you love hot weather), Reiger for dinner, streetcar to city Market on Saturday...lots of breakfast places, Farmhouse for lunch, Novel for dinner, Webster House for Sunday brunch! Boulevard Cafe and Jacobsons both great for HH!

  Needing suggestions...we are a group of seven couples in our 50's who gather yearly over the holidays. Typically a Sunday evening. We like to sit and visit for a while after dinner, so we don't want to feel rushed. Ideally a place with a Sunday happy hour (may not be possible I realize), moderatelty priced. Prefer Johnson County, or Plaza area, but open for all suggestions. Thank you guys!
