  Trisha Asked. My husband and I are looking for a fine dining type restaurant in the Lakeland area for a special occasion. I will be wearing a cocktail dress and he a slacks and a button up shirt (no tie or jacket). We would like to make reservation and be assured a delicious and quality meal. Can anyone recommend a great option for us? I am not finding much to choose from.

  Lakeland sucks for quality dining in general. The best options hands down are Bonefish and Terrace Hotel.

  The Terrace Hotel - took my parents to dinner their for the 50 th anniversary. GREAT food.

  The Terrace Hotel in downtown. We had a fabulous meal with great service. It wasn't cheap, but it was beautiful, well done and local.

  Terrace hotel. Celebrated mymom & dad's 60 th anniversary there. Had centerpiece, corsage & boutionneire (sp) delivered. Table was set beautifully. Had taken cake by earlier. Service was impeccable. Food wonderful. Loved every minute including the restaurant-wide toast my brother-in-law made. We dressed up & had a ball. We are local & didn't want to go out of town.
