Best roasters in your city Similar to the other post about SF here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Coffee/comments/cgkk8z/best_roasters_in_sf/ , I was going to NYC and wanted to take some beans along with me to try out, so a general thread might be interesting.
Please mention your city at the top and list some roasters that you consider good. Maybe some coffee shop recommendations would be fine as well.

**DC** has only a few roasters actually in DC, of them [Small Planes](https://smallplanescoffee.com/) is the best. If you extend it to the region, [Ceremony](https://ceremonycoffee.com/) wins hands down with [Vigilante](https://www.vigilantecoffee.com/) coming into play. I've heard good things about [Swing's](https://swingscoffee.com/product-category/coffee/) as well In my hometown of **Houston**, I'm quite fond of [Greenway](http://www.greenwaycoffee.com/) and [Boomtown](https://www.boomtowncoffee.com/) but [Amaya](https://www.amayaroasting.com/), [Fusion](http://fusionbeans.com/) and [Blendin](https://blendincoffeeclub.com/shop/) are doing great things.
Need good coffee recommendations. Where did you buy that Sulawesi, @kmacken23? Was it Zeke's?
