Ninga Melodies is a youth-led, entertainment group that promote principles of social and personal responsibility by involving themselves in carrying out compositions that includes folk tunes, afro pop, thematic song and contemporary music. Originally founded in 2010 by a group of dedicated friends who wanted to take music into another level.
Ninga Melodies seeks to make available the resources youth need to expand their capabilities to better themselves and their communities through their talent and a pool of experience. The group meets on regular basis and is based in Nairobi. The group is run entirely by a group of young musicians who want to impact positive changes among the youth in Nairobi by directly including and engaging them with thematic songs on social ills that hinders youth development.
