I like the bottle feed for maximum coverage but the gravity feed for smaller detail work and because you don't need a ton of paint to run it. As far as a compressor, there are a lot of options and it all depends on what you need out of it. Does it need to be portable? Silent? If so, you should look into specific airbrush compressors. I use an Iwata, Power Jet Lite, I believe. It will be the most costly part of your set-up. Check out Coastairbrush.com for the best prices I have found on this stuff.
