Anna L. asked:What can turn a somewhat decent household into a total disaster within the span of a few short days? That would be a broken washing machine. Other than delicately placing socks on the prongs of the dishwasher or throwing jeans in the freezer (I have actually heard this works) or having the kids put on as many garments as possible, coating them with palmolive and subsequently hosing them down in the backyard with outdoor water hose.
