  Need help or suggestion with water leak from the valve which is connected for water supply from Humidifier to water heater. I have turn offed the central humidifier and close the valve attached to water heater pipe (below pics) but water is still dripping from the pipe. Please suggest what needs to be done to solve the problem. Right now I am draining dripping water but not sure if that is a good idea rather than fixing the problem. I am located in Fairfax.

  That is a saddle valve. On the other side of the pin( handle) is a nut. Tighten the nut with adjustable wrench. Call John. Nugent and sons 703/356-7499 to replace saddle valve with qtr turn ball valve.
