Hi Tania! Unfortunately we do not actually have any hostels in or near Winnipeg, if you look at our map you can see that the nearest one is near Calgary: https://www.hihostels.com/search/hostels?view=map&q=Canada You can get in touch directly with Hostelling International Canada who may be able to help, at www.hihostels.ca. Many thanks, Rebecca
Looking to go to Europe on a budget with the bf. We're thinking Spain, Portugal, Greece, or Ireland. Any suggestions on where to go, what to see, best time to travel for cheap flights, where to stay. Any suggestions would be great!
Michelle W. replied:
We stayed in hostels as much as we could to cut down on costs. Really just needed some place to sleep, so that was a simple place for us to cut costs. That said, they are better & easier to find in some countries than others. I haven't been to any of those countries so I can't speak to their hostels. Check out the Hosteling International website, www.hihostels.ca.
Question From Community Member Kyla Prystupa:
"I want to go away for a weekend in November on my own. I can't decide if I would like to go to Banff, Canmore or Jasper. I am a female in my early 20's. I would like to find a decent hotel that is not too expensive. Does anyone have any recommendations or first-hand experience advice to share?"
Emma W. replied:
If you're not set on getting a hotel the Hostels are great and you can still book private/semi-private rooms. Check out www.hihostels.ca
