We are fairly new to TX and after trying a couple new dentists we either weren't impressed with dentist/staff and/or experienced pretty unreasonable costs ($400.00 cavity fill and $2,500.00 root canal, after insurance paid and the RC failed 3 months later). Thanks in advance! I forgot to add pricing...What is the average price to fill a cavity in this area? There are some great dentists who take CareCredit which is like a dental credit card where you can pay out your treatment. Dr. Shane Mason at Village Parkway Dental is very conservative, honest and ethical. He will not overdiagnose. 972.221.8724. If you want an honest opinion go see him. If you go the "cheap" route, you will likely have to have work redone in the future that will end up costing you more than if you took the quality route.
