  The affects of Irma are far reaching. My son's wedding is next Saturday. Flowers were ordered from a company that gets their product from South Florida and Central America. I was notified today that they will not be able to supply the flowers for the event. I am asking for suggestions on where to get LOCALLY grown flowers. Are there any growers in or around the Shelbyville area? I would appreciate your help knowing that this request pales in comparision to the needs of those in the path of the hurricane. Thank you!   I would check with local florist and their availability. We have several awesome ones in town , Bloom's - Nancy Hammonds Rankin or Pathelon Florist, Lori Sebring Glass, Flowers by Sharon, ...however their supplier may be limited as well. One of the Biagi's use to have an organic flower farm, and most recently Harvest hosted an event with another local grower. Also, Gallrein Farms has basket flowers. Without knowing your theme, I am shooting in the dark with suggestions. Hope this helps!

  Gallrein farms is in shelbyville (about 40 minutes away) they have a petting zoo, hay rides to pumpkin patch as well as other activities for the kiddos. I take my grandsons every year
