About us

Our Kimberton location is set in the crossroads of historic Kimberton Village in a former hardware store still full of old-time charm. This KWF store has been a pillar of the community since 1994. Visit our store for organic produce, raw dairy, humanely-raised meats, specialty and gourmet foods, baked goods, supplements, natural body care, and household items. Browse our books and gifts section, which showcases sustainable and fair-trade brands. We carry local products on many of our shelves and work with over 150 local producers in the Greater Philadelphia area. Stop by the Kimberton Café for freshly brewed coffee, a nutritious juice or smoothie, a made-to-order sandwich, or selections from our Prepared Food Bar. Enjoy a cup of coffee and a bowl of hot soup with a friend in our cozy café area, and use our free Wi-Fi. The KWF Support Offices, located above the store on the second floor, are where we work to bring you the best deals in local and organic food.

Giant's section is pretty good, although Wegman's is much better. Acme has no GF area, although they do have a section with more natural foods. Kimberton Whole Foods doesn't have a section, but there are many things there that are GF. Whole Foods is excellent. There is a disappointing lack of GF menus in area restaurants, of the massive number of pizza joints in the area only one, Franco Ristorante, has GF pizza, but it's pretty bad, although the GF pasta is good. I'm celiac, so pay a lot of attention. Hope this helps!
