Forced steam boiler just died, got a quote for little over $13k to replace, is this a fair price for Boston? Unfortunately I know very little about home heating systems. The boiler leaks out all the water and there's lots of rust underneath where the flames come out. Complete replacement minus permits and electrician is $13k. Apartment is 1,100 sqft, the boiler is ground level in an open area.
I am unable to find any reliable info online since prices vary by location, hoping someone more knowledge won't mind sharing some info. Appreciate any advice, thanks.
Thanks.

I've personally never had this sort of work done but a typical [boiler](https://www.ecomfort.com/Weil-McLain-118455300/p49526.html?utm_term=0CMFSBMPN-49526&var1=ecomfortusa&var2=adwordsfroogle&var3=38846&keyword=GOOGLEPLA-38846&gclid=Cj0KCQiA4 bzSBRDOARIsAHJ1UO5 lXYI0MJoZvYf3RXD1-FVdiMOTs6UJI3-4 c6Jf-4WpjqSWb5B681UaAr54EALw_wcB) is only around $4 k, does it really take $9 k in labor to install a boiler? It only takes a day...
