  Looking for some recommendations for a primary care provider either in North Raleigh (work), Cary or Apex (home). I just was able to attain health insurance as I was diabled for several years and now in remission. My last doc was on a sliding fee scale and could barely speak english (crappy lol) I am looking for someone to trust and who will care about me, and not just a number....So if you could reccomend , name/practice and why you like them, it would so much be appreciated.   Scarlet, we go to Wake Internal Medicine up at the Urgent Care Building between Bojangles and Wake Med North. They have a woman doctor Dr. Sarah Hughes, dr. Meyers, Dr. Chris McDaniel, and a Physician's Assistant. We are patients of Chris McDaniel. We have seen them all but, Chris is wonderful and looks quite nice! Great bedside manner, easy going and really takes time to explain everything. 919-781-7500

  I'm not sure what is local for you, but I absolutely love Wake internal medicine in Raleigh. They have GPs and specialists and the specialists, as drs at WIM are billed with insurance as GPs! (919)-781-7500
