Toni S. asked:Any laminate flooring installers in this group? Due to a major screw up on Home Depot's part, my Pergo floor installation has gone horribly wrong. Installers showed up yesterday, ripped out carpeting, moved furniture and then discovered the flooring wasn't on site to install. Home Depot incorrectly told me the installers would bring the flooring, they didn't. Well, the 31 boxes of laminate are now on site but I was told the next available install date is August 11, which is not acceptable since all three bedrooms upstairs are an unusable hot mess, and we are sleeping on couch and floor right now. Home Depot has been apologetic but of no help in resolving this mess. Latest phone call to their "expediter" has not been returned. At this point my only option is to get an installer on my own, and never deal with a big box store ever again.
