  Looking for reasonable mechanic. Family came up from FL and car isn't running well. Appears to be fuel injectors? Called around and each place called wants to charge for diagnostic first. Don't want to spend extra chasing our tails or playing guessing games. Does anyone know of a good, reliable honest mechanic? Do you have a way to run diagnotic and find out issue? Could take to parts place but just provides codes and what it may be (guessing game). Thank you in advance.

My husband typically does the majority of the mechanical work on our vehicles and doesn't trust mechanics but we took our honda to Scott after many folks recommending him on this site and were very pleased.   I desperately need help!! In the past week, we' ve had to pay 478.00 for a new battery and oil change (yeah, I know), 350.00 to get our air conditioning duct work under the house repaired (great guys!!). And 220.00 for a new ice maker (coming today)! We are retired and get paid once a month and everything is happening at once!! This morning the air conditioning in our car (2006 Honda Accord).is blowing only extremely hot air...sigh. Oh, and don't let me forget to add that I have strep throat!! Not my week at all!! :). But God is good and I will get through this!! Any recommendations on who can look at/fix the air condition at a reasonable price?? Thanks!

  My mechanic is amazing and only works on Hondas. Not only that, he's ethical to boot. His name is Beau and his number is 758-2719. I've been using his services for over a decade.
