Every time you get a number that is trying to sell you something after a month from registering with the do not call, you have to call the 888 number and report the number who called you. It's helped me and after every few years maybe 5 you have to re-register. As far as unwanted numbers, block them. I have been doing that.

Barbara B. replied:This is really starting to tick me off. I just received 4 junk phone calls in less than one hour. Really!!!! I registered our number on the Do Not Call List but that was quite a few years ago. So I redid it this morning. 1-888-382-1222. It takes a month to activate. Hope it'll help
