There are MANY people out there who have a nice camera, so they try to earn a little extra money by photographing weddings. Just beware of the super cheap ones, because if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Make sure you look at their portfolio and analyze their work. You can't retake wedding photos, so you have to find someone who is going to do it right. My husband and I own a photography business - we live in Battle Ground and have a studio in Vancouver. We try to keep our prices lower than average, because we feel that everyone deserves to have great photos, especially on such an important day. With that being said, keep in mind when you're looking at different prices that for every hour that a photographer spends at your wedding, he or she will probably spend about two hours editing. So even though your event may only be a couple of hours, your photographer will be putting a LOT of time into editing your photos. If they aren't, then you may want to consider someone else. ;) You can visit our website for our prices and packages (currently discounted).
