I'm looking for a resource for Black Wool (100%, no blends with polyester) for making a cloak and cowl. Any suggestions where to get it?

Another place I would recommend is B Black and Sons, Burnley and Trowbridge, Renaissance Fabrics, http://www.wmboothdraper.com/, http://www.hamiltondrygoods.com/, http://periodfabric.com/,

Can someone recommend a good place to get wool by the yard? Something a little heavy, like over 10 oz?

While poking around online, I found this site - Period Fabrics - which seems to be part of Hamilton Dry Goods. Their prices on wool seem a little too good to be true ($8 - $16 /yd), althought I know that HDG has an excellent reputation among the Civil War reenactors. Has anyone had any experience with periodfabric.com per se? http://periodfabric.com/wools/
Anyone have a recommendation for a good source of Sunforger treated army duck canvas for tents and the like? Best price I've seen is $7.95/ yard of 60" width, but oh the shipping cost! (Seattle area)

I got my a-frame sunforger from here but it looks like they're completely out of stock: http://periodfabric.com/
Merry Christmas to all! As newbies to CAS, Ozark Belle and I are working on costumes. Are there any retailers in the Lebanon, Springfield, SW MO area that any of you would recommend?
Thanks,

In the Shootist magazine there was an ad for hamiltondrygoods.com that advertises a "Cowboy Special" 4 pieces for $69.00. It includes suspenders, pants , shirts and socks. Don't know quality but it might b a cheap way to get first outfit. As far as ur wife, I wear men's pants and shirts because they fit my long arms and legs better than ladies so the deal could work for her too. I would suggest if u order online to go up two sizes on pants than u normally wear. That is what I have been told works for most folks.
