Looking for intermediate storage recommendation My builder is delaying the completion by 2 weeks (due to covid related issues) and I have to move out before completion.
I'm looking for a recommendation for storing my furniture (I don't have much 2 bed, 2 tables, and a few things)
Initial google search resulted in \`Public Storage\`. Are they safe? Any other recommendations?

Big steel box could also be an option. Might be a little more expensive but saves the Hassel of loading and unloading more than once. www.bigsteelbox.com
Can anyone recommend a cross country moving company!? Please and thanks

We used a container and shipped it. www.bigsteelbox.com They deliver it to your house, you pack it. They come back and pick it up, and ship it. Takes a few weeks to get there and voila!
Moving from Edmonton to Vancouver... So I have to move from Edmonton to Vancouver. I've never done a big move before. The original plan was:
Boyfriend and dad drive to Vancouver in a rented cargo van. Leave van in Vancouver. I fly out, boyfriend's dad flies home.
This was ok until I found out that it would cost $600-800 for the van (and not $100-200 as quoted on various rental websites...)
So my question to you is: do you know of a cheaper rental company (I've called uhaul, budget, enterprise and a couple others)? I only need a cargo van but everywhere wants me to get a 10' truck or bigger. However I do need to leave the van in Vancouver... Option b would be to hire movers, so does anyone know any reputable movers who will cost less than $800-900 (I want it cheaper than the van..). Or any other options?
I am moving April 27 if that makes a difference. And I really don't have time for this stress.
Edit: I'd also be happy if you could tell me how to get 50-75% off the rental...

Check out big http://www.bigsteelbox.com/ You pack up a sea-can in Edmonton, then they ship it to Vancouver and you un-pack there. Saves you driving it.
