Sally Said So Professional Dog Training employs scientifically proven training techniques and follows a philosophy of providing a consistent and fair environment for your dog. Our training is reward-based and your dog learns to do things for you because he wants to. This is the power of positive reinforcement. Shane Gentry is a husband and father with a lifetime of animal training experience, both on the volunteer and professional levels. Besides dogs, he has even trained a goat and prairie dog! After a successful career in the construction industry, Shane was presented with an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of dogs and their people on a full-time basis. He seized this opportunity and Sally Said So Professional Dog Training, a lifetime dream, was born. Shane completed an intensive certification course through Animal Behavior College, the largest trainer's school in the United States, and is now offering private behavior training and consulting services to dogs of all breeds and ages, as well as group classes in local communities.

I've always adopted adult dogs and while I have extensive dog experience, it seems that doesn't exactly translate with puppies. I would prefer a trainer that comes to your home to work with the dog and your family as opposed to a training class at Petsmart and the like. I would like for my 82 year old mother to partake with the training and she is pretty much housebound. Does anyone have any recommendations for amazing trainers that have helped them in the past?
