Has anyone considered, or does anyone use soap nuts?? I am thinking of switching over from Dr. Brommers to Soap Nuts. I would love to know if anyone is sold on them, and what other uses you have found for them other than laundry.

I LOVE them!! I was convinced last January after reading about them on kithen stewardship. I bout 5 pounds of "soapnuts on the half shell" from www.naturoli.com. I like this company because they take the seed out so you arent paying for something you cant use. They also habe alot of other products. I like their shampoo, it helped my psoriasis. Its expensive though and i did t repurchase bc the longer i have eaten real food the psoriasis has gone away on its own. I bought the pieces bc they go in a little bag inthe wash and it didnt make any dif to me. I also save them after they have been in the wash 5-6 times and when i get a bunch i boil them and use it for cleaner as on the crunchy betty site. She has a whole article called the mother of all soapnuts recipes. I bought 5# in january 2012 and haven't even used half!!! Too bad this topic didn't come up a week ago...their pieces were 40% off. They do offer wholesale though..maybe a group buy could happen? I think the liquid you make cleans better than vinegar. I am at dinner i will post more later :)
