  Gym suggestions for WF and surrounding areas please! NOT looking for a typical commercial gym (no Lifetime Fitness, etc.). Looking for a gym that supports ADFPF powerlifters (drug free). Needs to have lifting platforms, allows chalk and chains, tires, etc. More of a "gritty" type gym, if you will. We are having trouble finding something in the area that supports powerlifting.

  2 actually.... CrossFit wake forest and cross fit Confortare. Plus there's an amazing kettle bell studio but setup their workouts ahead of time like CrossFit... It is called the vault.

  Check out Crossfit Wake Forest. They have crossfit, track out camps, oly lifting, mobility classes, crossfit kids and expert coaches. I started about 7 months ago and they are the best!!!!

  Crossfit Wake Forest. The coaches there have been involved in CF for many years. They were involved with it since before the "boom".

  At CrossFit Wake Forest they do an instructor-led dynamic warm-up as well as mobility work in the beginning of each session. CFWF also keeps classes at 8 or fewer people at all times. So we all get individual attention and instruction.

  I also train at CrossFit Wake Forest. They have well qualified trainers with multiple CrossFit certifications. They keep their class sizes down to insure safe and personal coaching. They also use great technology to keep your progress at your finger tips and your fitness goals in sight. They will give you your first workout free. Given them a shot.
