  Urgent care in Pelham is great to just walk in. You might want to call and make sure they see toddlers. Alabaster Pediatrics is great for a Doctor. We see Dr. Paula Johnson

  I hope this is OK but our daughter is being discharged from the NICU soon and we are looking for recommendations on a good peditrition for her. Would prefer someone who deals with preemies regularly and would take our concerns serious if any would arise with her lung issues. Shes been in the NICU since birth and its been five months so we don't want to trust her with just anyone. Thanks! Can be in alabaster or Birmingham area

  Dr. Patti Schroder at Alabaster Pediatrics 205-663-5547 Shelby Medical Center Towers Dr's here communicate with each other so if ever needed to be seen by another. They don't mind asking what's going on or think they are better than their colleagues! The group is a family itself!

  Alabaster pediatrics - dr Schroder . She is awesome . We have used her for 13 years. She's a great , thorough doctor. She will not give antibiotics unless they are truly needed. We love her.

  Chilton co. Pediatricians are a joke!....I have heard lots of complaints about Greenvale but also some good things...Alabaster Pediatrics is fairly good we used them for a while but they couldnt compare to Vestavia.....depending on who needs them though b/c Vestavia does not take Medicaid and the others do.....if that is a concern

My son has been at Greenvale since we moved here over a year ago and until lately has been treated wonderfully.   My boys went to Dr. Schroder, but once they were about 11, I had to change to Greenvale because they wanted a male doctor and Alabaster Pediatrics doesn't offer a male doctor. Also, I think the doctors at Alabaster Pediatrics all work parttime, and it is extremely difficult to get an appointment when needed. They also rescheduled one of my son's well-child visit three times. That's also why I decided to change to Greenvale.

  Alabaster Pediatrics!! Holly Johnson's or Irons are really great. We moved here 4 years ago, and it's the best place. My 4 kids range in age 3-14 Good Luck

  Alabaster Pediatrics - Dr. Dianne Matheson. All of the doctors are great...but Dr. Matheson is the best. She was at Greenvale when my 18 yr old was born but left and opened her own practice. We went with her and have never looked back. My 18 yr old was also diagnosed with ADHD and Dr. Matheson is very understanding. She is also the most thorough doctor I have ever been to see, for adults or children.

  I know Tyler is 16 but we use Alabaster Pediatrics, it's a whole group of women. I use Patti Schroeder, we have used her since he was born. Seen some of the other ladies & like them as well. They are above the old diagnostic center@hospital. 205-663-5547

  We also use Dr. Schroeder at Alabaster Pediatrics and love her! She always takes the time to talk to you and that was thing that they mentioned to us, to always call anytime he was unusually fussy and just inconsolable. I think she would definitely work with you to figure out what's going on.

  Christy use some of the gripe water or try put rice cereal in her bottle. Dr Byers (female) at Southlake Pediatrics. Thats where my boys go. I used Alabaster Pediatrics with Bradlee and they done nothing for him. If you want there number let me lnow

Just spent time in Shelby hospital to then get transferred to Children's Hospital for a severe asthma attack. I didn't realize that Shelby did not take pediatric patients.   I have two asthmatic children one of which had many episodes that required hospital stays. We have always used their primary care pediatrician, Dr. Patti Schroder with Alabaster Pediatrics. She has cared for them for 17+ years.

  http://alabasterpediatrics.com/ourdoctors.html, my girls see Dr. Paula Johnson and we love her, but we also love Dr. Holly Johnson. Dr. Schroder has got rude with me, so I recommend any but her. We have seen them all because their pediatrician is only part time and not always there when they get sick.

  Leanne, It is the same way at Alabaster Pediatrics. You have to book a few months in advance. I did the same thing with Macey's 6 yr checkup (6 March 17 th) and it isnt until April 22 nd. LOL. It is a little later then it would have been, had I wanted her to miss a little school, but not by much! lol
