The Te Mana Story: Jason and Marguerite Cruz are native San Diegans. They recently opened Te Mana Café, in Ocean Bea. Here they renovated their 1924 craftsman style home into an Island-style Café. Mana in Polynesian culture, means spiritual power or essence. Te Mana means "our power, our essence." The Cruz family has traveled in the islands of the Pacific and Caribbean, bringing the Aloha spirit back to the beach loving culture of San Diego.
The Café serves a variety of cocktails, local craft beer and wine, hand crafted coffee and tea beverages, hot or iced. The Cafe is locally famous for its pour over station for coffee libations and "coffee ice," ice cubes made of coffee to pump up the taste of iced beverages. The chef written menu includes island inspired cuisine including Acai bowls, Hawaiian Plates with Kahlua Pork (wrapped in banana leaves and Hawaiian sea salt) or Island-Love Chicken (secret recipe), and amazing salads, pastries, smoothies and desserts. Live music often and Doggie Dinners, meeting space and BIG ALOHA make Te Mana Cafe the best choice in town. Like us on Facebook/ Te Mana Cafe for up coming details.
