A two-part question, but first the backstory: my husband and I are both newly retired. We have also just inherited a house in Delaware County that has been closed up for ten years. It’s a bit of a beauty and worth restoring. We are capable of doing some of the interior work ourselves, but will have to hire a general contractor, registered with the state of Pennsylvania, for a house renovation. 1) We need a plumber who can get some of the plumbing in shape so that we can do interior work through the Winter. 2) We need a good, dependable, honest general contractor that is up for a big job. Could I have some recommendations, if you have any?
