  My husband has been dealing with neck/shoulder pain that has been causing bad headaches on one side of his head and some aching in his arm as well. He can't get any relief anymore from chiropractor or over the counter pain meds. Need recommendation of where to take him to get help. Regular doctor first or go straight to an orthopedic dr or a pain clinic? Not sure where to start.

  I am desperately looking for an Orthopedic Surgeon that specializes in reconstructive surgery. My surgery would be a little more complicated than most as I have a knee replacement that would have to be removed as well as the spiral fracture to my tibia which is 6 to 8 inches long. My leg is not healing and I really need a second opinion immediately!! Any suggestions would be more that appreciated. I am getting desperate here!!!

He just did a knee replacement on one of my SS students and she is doing super (up and walking the same day of surgery and she is above the age of 50). she says he has a passion for resolving musculoskeletal ailments and injuries in the most conservative manner possible.   I have Blue Value, and I see to Dr. Mona Soliman at Rex Family in Wakefield as my primary. She refered me to Dr. Jaime Pedraza and Dr. Derek Watson of Orthopaedic Specialists of North Carolina in the same building. They recommended PT for my IT band and back, and their PT department (in the same building) was fabulous! All of them accepted Blue Value, and I can't say enough about my PT Jennifer Kurtz. She was the absolute best of any PT I've ever worked with, and I miss seeing her because she was so much fun. She never made me feel like PT was a chore.
