About us
For over a quarter of a century, custom builder, Len Love has provided construction services with his remarkable work ethic. He has maintained his philosophy that with unwavering commitment, he can build anything from a birdhouse to a high-rise.
As a fourth generation carpenter, Love’s passion for craftsmanship began at a very early age. As a young man, he worked for Osley and Williams Construction in Atlanta as well as Dixie Woodworks as a crew chief. During that time, Love gained a great deal of knowledge about carpentry and building, which led him to start his own company, Precision Craftsman, in Atlanta in 1985. Over the next seven years, projects included remodeling and room additions as well as many historic renovations in the Druid Hills area. In 1992, Love relocated to Baldwin County, Alabama and continued to follow his entrepreneurial spirit founding Homework Construction Company where remodels and additions remained his primary focus.
In order to fulfill his vision of assisting customers throughout the entire home building process, Love became a licensed Homebuilder by the State of Alabama and subsequently transformed Homework Construction Company to E.L. Love Construction, Inc. In recent years, E.L. Love Construction has concentrated on the production of stick built as well as ICF (Insulated Concrete Forms) concrete construction.
Some of Love’s work has been featured in local and national magazines and has appeared in the movie Driving Miss Daisy. Today, the company continues to build its reputation, specializing in unique design, customer service, and an unsurpassed eye for detail. From room additions to dream homes, Len Love is devoted to providing the highest quality and service in the industry.
