I'm moving into my new place tomorrow evening (can't get the time off work during the day!) and haven't yet managed to sort actually moving my stuff! It's mainly suitcases and boxes/bags, a small shelving unit and a bedside table so a small van should be ok! I'm also happy to do all of the moving just need a lift from A to B with it all as I don't have a car! Would be around 7pm tomorrow and shouldn't take more than an hour. Is anyone out there able to give me a VERY rough estimate on the total cost of moving the contents of a 2 bedroom house from High Wycombe to ST. Austell in Cornwall? No white goods or huge items, our largest furniture items are a 3 seater sofa, two matresses (we're leaving the bed frames!), a couple of chests of drawers, a rocking chair, that kinda thing! I'm assuming that we will need an actual removal van, rather than a man with a van as we will also need a couple of fellas to load the van, so probably professional companies would be more suitable? Just at a total loss as to where to start with this! Usually I just rent a transit and my mate drives it! Any help or advice anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated!
