You will also need to pay online $20 per test there is a total of 4 tests. I work at Dona Ana Community College on Sonoma Ranch where the GED test is offered.

Go to ged.com They have pre-tests & study material. I did the pre-tests online & then went through that website to schedule my actual tests. You can schedule them 1 at a time, 2 at a time, or all at a time, whatever you’re comfortable with. I did RLA & SS in one day & go back next Friday to take my science & math. Once you pass a test, you get to keep that credit. It’s $150 total, tests are $37.50 a piece.

After you register you can then register to take the test. The closest place is ctc. There are 4 sections & each section costs about $40 a piece. I would suggest taking one section at a time each section gives you about 2 hours to complete. I think they do testing from 8-5 Monday-Thursday. Good Luck!

It's all moved digital now. The website is a private party (personvue) but is the official way. Go to the website, pay a couple bucks and take a pre test. See where you stand, study the areas that you struggle with and then schedule your tests. I believe they are $35 each. I took my test at a place in Riverside off Madison near the Bakers after I scheduled the test online. I passed all mine without studying, wasn't as hard as I thought it was gonna be. That was about 2 years ago.

You get 3 shots on each portion. My husband hadn't gone to school in over 10 years and wasn't the best at it when he went. He passed most of it his first try and then only had to retake the portion he failed.

We also offer classes if you feel you may need some instruction.

Clarendon college Pampa center and Frank Phillips are the closest testing facilities. The next available test date is not until September 11 due to college classes starting in August. You do not have to take classes. It is a 4 part test and costs around 140$

Looking for the full classes not just the test please and thank you!!!Cheyenne R. replied:there's also something called C-BASE. its 3 days a week, I think 9 am-11 am. you take those classes for a year or so I think 9 months? its connected with the same one as McKinley school for adults but the classes are at the hale kipa office. try contacting them. but the only way you can get approved for c base is if you take your pre test and see if your scores are high or low. they recommend if your scores are low that you take c base and if your scores are high, you can do independent work and study on your own with GED.com. another thing is, GED.com you can ONLY get approved, again with the main office by Kauai high..

Kim E. replied:I did my full sequence mtDNA test through Familytreedna.com. Prices vary depending on what testing you decide on. I had a full sequence run so I could see my haplogroup and to see where my HVR1 and HVR2 differences from CRS occur. this is the ony way to get "high resolution mtDNA matches." They have a full menu of options available. Familytreedna.com was highly recommended by Ancestry.com magazine. Familytreedna has my results posted and also our ged.com file with individual's information for those born 1905 and earlier in our gedcom.file (our Family Tree). There are other companies as well that do this same testing. I also participated in the conversion of my mitochondrial test results to National Geographic's Genographic Project. I have also contributed my mtDNA test results to Mitosearch.org and our gedcom.file which only shows individual information for those born 1905 and earlier. Men can have their mtDNA tested (they carry their mother's X chromosome and her mitochondrial DNA) and also have their Y chromosomal DNA tested which gives them their paternal ancestry record. My father David Emerson and also Everett Emerson had their Y chromosomal DNA tested and they are a perfect match even though they branch from their common ancestral Grandfather John Emerson who was married to Penelope Dyer Emerson all the way back to 1700 s Maryland.
